Which DeKalb City Has State's Most Educated Adults?
Business Insider compiled a list of the most educated towns in every state. And Georgia's top neighborhood is in DeKalb County.
Ambitious? Brainiacs? Accomplished? How would you describe Druid Hills residents?
A recent listicle by Business Insider says Druid Hills led the state of Georgia for the community with the highest percentage of adults who have at least a bachelor’s degree. And it’s not even a true city, although the community is trying to incorporate.
Business Insider put together the rankings, a mix of affluent suburbs like Druid Hills and college towns, using data from the Census Bureau’s annual American Community Survey.

Using the survey results, Business Insider made a map showing, for each state, the town with the highest percentage of adults over 25 who have at least a bachelor’s degree.
A hefty 81.8 percent of Druid Hills adults have earned a bachelor’s degree, ranking it No. 19 in the country. Chevy Chase, MD, a suburb of Washington, D.C., led all cities with 92.7 percent of its adults having earned a college diploma.
