Winners of 2013 'Great Christmas Light Fight' Back with 'Frozen'

A Decatur family won ABC's battle of Christmas lights a year ago, and continues to light up the neighborhood.

For Tony and Katie Paradowski of Decatur, less is definitely not more. The family shows its love of Christmas with an amazing light display.

Christmas in the Grove in Decatur, winner of last year’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” on ABC, is back this season featuring the song “Let It Go” from “Frozen.

The thousands of lights can be found at 1428 Oak Grove Drive in Decatur. Donations are collected to benefit the ALS Association of Georgia.

Rain in the forecast for the next few days will likely cancel the light show, so check the Christmas In the Grove Facebook page to see if it’s on each night.

Typical hours are 6:30 to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 6:30 to 11 p.m. Friday through Sunday, weather permitting. Lights will be on through Jan. 1.

The sound from the show can be heard in the yard and is also broadcast on 87.9 FM so that you can listen from your car.
