The woman sat in the waiting room for seven hours before she decided to leave. A bill still came.
DECATUR, GA — A woman who sat in Emory Decatur Emergency Room’s waiting area for seven hours decided to leave. She still received a $700 hospital bill, although she was never treated, according to WAGA-TV.
Taylor Davis told the station that she went to the ER in July for a head injury. She said she thought it was a mistake, but later confirmed it was a standard ER visit fee.
