Woman Nabbed In Atlanta For Stone Mountain Slaying: Police
Lakoaia Johnson has been charged with murder and armed robbery in the Oct. 23 shooting of Justuss Rogers, says DeKalb Sheriff's Office.

DECATUR, GA — DeKalb sheriff's deputies have apprehended an Atlanta woman wanted in the Oct. 23 armed robbery and slaying of a Decatur man as he was sitting in his car, the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday. The sheriff's Fugitive Unit tracked down and arrested Lakoaia Johnson, 20, on Thursday at a residence off Pinella Drive in Atlanta.
Johnson has been charged with felony murder and felony armed robbery in the killing of Justuss Rogers, 26, the sheriff's office said. On Monday, the Fugitive Unit arrested Shamar Davis, 17, on the same charges.
Authorities allege that Davis shot and killed Rogers on Oct. 23 while committing an armed robbery. The sheriff's office did not say how Johnson was involved in the incident.

She was taken Thursday to the DeKalb County Jail without incident, the sheriff's office said.

At the time of the Oct. 23 shooting, the victim was sitting in the front seat of his Chevrolet Camaro on Pinnacle Drive in Stone Mountain. Rogers tried to pull away from the scene, but the car struck two other vehicles and came to a stop on a curb, according to a media report. Paramedics took Rogers to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, where he later died.
