Woman's Relatives Killed Husband For Abusing Her: Police
Authorities say the May attack in Decatur was "retribution for his assault against his wife."

DECATUR, GA — Three men have been charged with murder after they beat to death the husband of a woman they are related to for abusing her, according to police.
Elton Calloway, 26, Kenneth Calloway, 30, and Bruce Anthony McDaye, 24, all of Decatur, were arrested on Monday on the murder charges, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff's Office. They are charged in the May 27 beating death of Torin Davenport, of Decatur.
According to the sheriff's office, Davenport was attacked at 2505 Columbia Dr.

According to arrest warrants, the three men are relatives of Davenport's wife. The May attack was "in retribution for his assault against his wife," said sheriff's office spokeswoman Cynthia Williams.
Davenport lost consciousness during the attack and never regained it. He later died from complications related to blunt force trauma, according to arrest warrants.

On Monday, Kenneth Calloway was arrested on McCurdy Avenue in Stone Mountain, Elton Calloway was arrested on Glenwood Road in Decatur and McDaye was arrested on Memorial Drive in Decatur. All were taken to DeKalb County Jail without incident.
