Youth Killed, Man Wounded in Home Invasion Robbery: Report
The 61-year-old shooting victim is in critical condition, Atlanta TV station reports.

DECATUR, GA -- A 16-year-old boy died Wednesday night and a 61-year-old man was wounded in a home invasion robbery at an apartment complex, an Atlanta TV station reported.
The 16-year-old was part of a group of suspects who broke into the man's apartment at around 8 p.m., a spokesman for the DeKalb County Police Department told WSB-TV Channel 2. The apartment complex is on Glenwood Road.
The 16-year-old and the 61-year-old man were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where the teenager was pronounced dead. The man was in surgery overnight, and was in critical condition Wednesday morning, WSB-TV reported.

The police were unclear on who fired the shots, WSB-TV said.
The police spokesman, Lt. Shane Stanfield, said it was not clear whether the 61-year-old man exchanged shots with those who broke into his home. "We believe there were multiple suspects involved," he said.
