• Mosquitoes test positive for West Nile virus in Roswell (fox5atlanta.com) — Mosquitoes carrying West Nile virus have been found in several metro Atlanta spots this summer, including earlier detections in Doraville's 30360 ZIP code that led to larvicide treatments in storm drains. Now, Roswell parks are seeing positive traps, prompting targeted spraying there and renewed reminders for all nearby residents to use repellent, wear long sleeves at dawn and dusk, and dump standing water around their homes.
