TechXpo festival is coming to Wiregrass Georgia Technical College's Coffee Campus in Douglas on Saturday, Oct. 10, offering music, games, rides, and hands-on tech demos from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Families can explore career programs, meet faculty, and support local vendors, with $30 booth registration still open and more details available online.
   

• Infant Ja'Queze Xavier Kirby Jr. (jdledger.com) — Douglas residents are mourning infant Ja'Queze Xavier Kirby Jr., who was born in Douglas on Sept. 8 and passed away two days later in Jacksonville. Loved ones gathered for services at Bennett Tabernacle Holiness Church, with burial in Hazlehurst Memorial Cemetery, as his parents, siblings, grandparents, and extended family remember his brief but deeply cherished life.
