DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A juvenile has been arrested in connection with a series of vehicle break-ins in Douglas County, authorities said Monday.
Deputies have responded to multiple break-ins in the past 30 days in the area of Dorsett Shoals and Mason Creek roads, and authorities said they identified the juvenile as a suspect in the case. The juvenile's age and name were not released.
While investigation, authorities said they recovered clothing the juvenile wore during the break-ins and several items that were reported stolen from the vehicles.
The juvenile was arrested on 39 felony charges and will be processed in the juvenile justice system, authorities said. They did not specifically identify the charges.
:The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office reminds residents to remain vigilant by locking their vehicles, removing valuables and reporting any suspicious activity promptly," authorities said in a news release.
