DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Authorities say they need assistance in identifying a male who was found dead on May 15 in the Dog River Reservoir.
The area where the male was found dead sits along Highway 166 in Douglasville, the Douglas County Sheriff's Office said Friday. The cause and manner of death were not revealed.
Authorities have released renderings and photos of the male's tattoos in hopes someone will recognize the tattoos or has information that can help identify him.
The sheriff's office asked anyone with information to call investigators at (770) 876-4116 or (678) 486-1251.
"All information received will be handled appropriately as investigators work to identify the deceased and notify the next of kin," authorities said in a news release.
