Vision 21 is founded and led by CEO Rev. Dr. Edwin E. Ford. The organization offers a food pantry, teaches life skills and recovery opportunities, according to its website.

"We have helped thousands of individuals and families achieve independence, and we are ready to help many more in the future, until the day that homelessness no longer exists, and until the day that our local communities are as socially rich and as economically vital as possible," read the website.

"At Vision 21, we help our clients gain the skills they need to reach their full potential. Through increasing access to health and education for those who don't have it, to guiding and developing those who do, Vision 21 helps inspire the homeless community to the future workforce. At the same time, we are growing the talent pool needed by our markets, our clients and our community businesses. We believe that through our people giving their time, skills and knowledge and with your financial resources, we can make the biggest impact."

The car show will feature food, a kids corner and raffle prizes, organizers said.

Early registration costs $25 and will end on Sept. 15. Registration is available via Vision 21.
