Douglas Co. Sets Fall Break Flag Football Clinic For Kids

DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Douglas County families looking for a fall break activity have a new option through the county parks department's football clinic.

The Douglas County Parks and Recreation Department will host a football clinic for children ages 6-14 at Bill Arp Football Field. It will be held from 10 a.m. to noon, Oct. 13-14.

The program is co-ed, and the cost is $30 per athlete.

Participants will spend the two mornings building football skills while learning the game in a recreational setting, organizers said.

"Athletes will practice their skills, learn the game and have fun on the field," organizers said in the announcement.

Registration is available online. Families can also register in person at Deer Lick Park, located at 2105 Mack Road.
