DOUGLASVILLE, GA — A Douglasville church is inviting people to stop by for a free drive-thru food pantry.
Douglasville First United Methodist Church will host the grocery giveaway at 11 a.m. on Oct. 10, Nov. 14 and Dec. 5 at 6167 Prestley Mill Road.
The event is open to anyone, and the church said friendly volunteers will be on hand to help.
Recipients do not need to leave their cars to receive groceries, organizers said.
"Whether you need a little extra help this week or know someone who does, we invite you to come by and be blessed," organizers said in the announcement.
Organizers did not say if registration is required.
