DOUGLASVILLE, GA — Families in search of a Halloween event will have a chance to celebrate at Trunk-or-Treat on Main Street later this month in Douglasville.
The City of Douglasville will host the event from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30, at the Old Precinct Parking Lot, 6730 Church St. The event is billed as a family-friendly way to mark Halloween.
Activities will include designing candy bags, trunk-or-treating with local businesses, an inflatable, a mobile arcade and cotton candy, city officials said.
The first 200 attendees will receive a free drink from a full-service coffee truck, city officials said.
The Halloween activities will be followed by a screening of "Goosebumps" on the Town Green, starting at 7 p.m.
"It's spooky season, but that doesn't mean you should be afraid for your family's safety this Halloween. Trunk or Treat on Main Street provides a fun and safe way to celebrate Halloween with the whole family," city officials said Thursday.
