7 Dunwoody Students Named Honors Program Finalists

The program is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students.

The Georgia Department of Education announced 30 DeKalb County School District high school students are finalists and alternates in the 2016 Georgia Governor’s Honors Program.

The Georgia Governor’s Honors Program is a residential summer program for gifted and talented high school students who will be rising juniors and seniors during the program.

According to the Georgia Department of Education, “The program offers instruction that is significantly different from the typical high school classroom and is designed to provide students with academic, cultural, and social enrichment necessary to become the next generation of global critical thinkers, innovators, and leaders.”
