β’ Dunwoody community rallies around 14-year-old freshman with rare brain cancer (roughdraftatlanta.com) β Dunwoody neighbors, city leaders, and Dunwoody High School rallied around 14-year-old student Jonah Blick with a surprise sendoff at Kingswood Church before he begins radiation treatment. Organized by Atlanta nonprofit YES DAY, the celebration and Gainesville trip highlight how residents are providing meals, support, and moments of joy to help the family focus on his recovery.

β’ Storms bring down trees, knock out power to 50K in metro Atlanta (fox5atlanta.com) β Strong storms swept through metro Atlanta Saturday, with warnings covering areas between Roswell, Dunwoody, Doraville, Duluth, and Alpharetta and knocking out power to more than 50,000 customers. Dunwoody residents may still see downed trees, blocked roads, and lingering outages as Georgia Power and EMC crews work to assess damage and restore electricity across DeKalb and neighboring counties.
