• Customized cows to arrive in DeKalb cities for new public art project (roughdraftatlanta.com) — Dunwoody is getting its own life-size fiberglass cow, "Kirby," as part of DeKalb County's new 12+1 public art initiative, with installation planned this fall. The city is inviting artists to submit paid design proposals, celebrating Dunwoody's dairy history and placing the cow at the historic Donaldson-Bannister House. Residents can expect colorful new public art across DeKalb, including right at home.
   

• Sunshine Artist Top 200 list includes local art festival (appenmedia.com) — Dunwoody's beloved Mother's Day weekend Art Festival has been named the 78th most profitable classic and contemporary craft market in the country by Sunshine Artist magazine, highlighting its strong sales for artists. The festival fills Dunwoody Village Parkway each May with thousands of visitors, volunteer support, and booths featuring paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography, and more handmade work.
   

• Trees Atlanta offers FREE front yard trees & planting services for residents of these 12 cities (atlantaonthecheap.com) — Dunwoody homeowners can now request free front yard trees and planting services through a Trees Atlanta program available this fall. Residents choose from approved canopy varieties, get planting help starting in October, and can apply online while reviewing eligibility, limits, and responsibilities, alongside other fall activity ideas around metro Atlanta.
