2024 Franciscan Estate Sauvignon Blanc

Recently we dined on Quiche Lorraine and Caesar Salad, accompanied by a nice bottle of Sauvignon Blanc from the California vineyards of Franciscan Estate. What a treat for a late summer, early fall dinner. The wine and quiche were a perfect pair! (The Chardonnay Queen said so!)
The Franciscan is a good example of California Sauvignon Blanc, with good balance, and high marks for food appeal! The abundant flavors are green apple, pineapple, and lime zest, with a big crisp fruit finish. The alcohol content is 12.8%. and Norm's score is 90.
Th1s is a good choice for a variety of foods from salad to seafood, or you can just enjoy a chilled glass as a "Backporch Sipper"!
