Butterfly Festival Returns to Dunwoody

In less than two weeks, hundreds of butterflies will return to the Dunwoody Nature Center.

Dunwoody Nature Center’s Butterfly Festival will celebrate all things winged on Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Hundreds of live butterflies will be fluttering around in two enormous tents that visitors can walk through.

In addition to the butterfly tents, festivities also include games, crafts, face painting, live music, a magic show, a Birds of Prey Show, the Georgia Bubbleman and a nature scavenger hunt.
