Community Assistance Center Needs Donations, Volunteers

The nonprofit that serves Dunwoody is asking the public to help with holiday and non-holiday related needs.

The Community Assistance Center, which serves Dunwoody and Sandy Springs, is asking residents to help it provide others with a comforting holiday season.

The organization is asking the public to make monetary or food donations, adopt a family for holiday gifts or buy grocery store gift cards to help provide a meal to those in need.

Community Assistance Center is also seeking winter clothing, including children’s coats and jackets and men’s hats and gloves. It also needs gently worn girls’ clothing in all sizes (infant – 14) and boys clothing in sizes 2T - 7/8.
