Cub Scout Pack 1818 Opening Meeting

Join the Scouts of Atlanta's only Conservative/Reform Jewish Cub Scout Pack on August 16 for our Opening Meeting—it's not too late to join!

We have two great activities on tap. First is a Rain Gutter Regatta, where children get to build and race handmade toy boats. Easy and fun to put together, kits will be provided by Pack 1818 for all interested children. Kids can also build and launch their own Soda Bottle Water Rocket . . . again, materials will be supplied.

Having so much fun is bound to work up an appetite in those kids, but we’ve got you covered, as dinner is provided as well!

And all this fun costs . . . nothing!

So come out to Garrard Landing Park (8000 Holcomb Bridge Road) from 3 pm to 5:30 pm. If your son (a rising first- through fifth-grader) is interested, bring him down and let him see all the fun we offer. And bring the siblings too . . . the whole family is welcome!

An RSVP is appreciated, to Janet Simmerman, jfsimmerman@gmail.com / 321-626-5749
