A Dunwoody father who reportedly asked a Target employee to watch his 3-year-old daughter in the car while he shopped faces a criminal charge.
Vadislav Orzhekhovskiy, 40, pulled into the fire lane of the store and asked store employees to watch the toddler, reports WSB TV.

Here’s how a police officer described the incident Thursday – and another with an older child left alone -- on the police department’s Facebook page:
“Alright. I need to get something off my chest. When has it ever... EVER... been a good idea to leave your child in the car while you go shopping? A gentleman parked his vehicle in the fire lane of a local business and left his 3 year old in her car seat. He informed a store employee that she was in the car and that he would be shopping.

About 10 minutes later, we receive another report of a precious 6 year old girl left in the car of yet another business. This time, mom left her and her 15 year old brother in the car to wait on her. The brother bolted leaving this little girl terrified and alone for what we can guess was close to an hour.
Do we seriously need another PSA about not leaving your children in the car unattended?”
