Driver of 18-Wheeler Ticketed in Dunwoody Crash

DUNWOODY, GA -- Police have ticketed the driver of an 18-wheeler that resulted in a serious crash this past Friday on Chamblee-Dunwoody Road.

The accident happened when the truck’s driver ran a red light at the intersection of North Shallowford Road, according to Reporter Newspapers. Police say the truck slammed into a passenger car, injuring its two occupants.

Both passengers, who were alert and conscious after the accident, were taken to a local hospital.

The crash pushed both vehicle onto nearly Peeler Road, police said.
