Dunwoody Elementary School Principal Reassigned

Parents of students, teachers and staff at Dunwoody Elementary School learned that Johnathan Clark, principal at Dunwoody Elementary School was reassigned earlier this week.

Clark has been reassigned to McLendon Elementary School for the upcoming school year, according to a letter sent to parents after the reassignment. McLendon Elementary School, located in Dectaur, lists Llyod McFarlane, as its principal on the school's website.

"I have thoroughly enjoyed all three years at DES and the additional six years I have had the opportunity to serve the Dunwoody community," Clark wrote. "The School District, Staff, School Council and Parent Leadership team members are working very hard to provide insight and input for the selection of the next principal."

It's the second faculty change of note this spring for area schools. Popular Dunwoody High School Principal Rodney Swanson announced he was being reassigned in May.
