Dunwoody girls' soccer starts state playoffs
Dunwoody joins two other teams from county in Class AAAA tournament

The Dunwoody girls' soccer team wil visit Pope High School Wednesday in the Class AAAA state playoffs.
Dunwoody joins the other two girls' soccer teams from the county in the playoff action. Chamblee and Lakeside high schools are also gunning for a title.
Dunwoody will take its 11-7-0 record up against Pope's 17-1-0 record. The start time is 5:55 p.m.
The Lady Wildcats are led by junior forward Emily Strahan who has scored 25 goals this season, which ties her for third in the county in scoring. Avery Wood is also a statistical leader with 15 assists.
Senior goaltender Megan Grove is sixth in the county in goals allowed with 2.39.
