Dunwoody mayor, senator endorse Kasich for president

Dunwoody state sen. Fran Millar has joined John Kasich’s statewide leadership team in the Ohio governor’s White House bid.

Millar will serve on Kasich’s team along with Sandy Springs Mayor Rusty Paul.

Also, Dunwoody mayor Mike Davis is serving on Kasich’s Georgia steering committee.

“Having spent nearly 18 years on the House Armed Services Committee, Kasich has a depth of foreign policy experience and understanding that cannot be matched,” Millar said in a statement. “Couple that with his leadership in helping to balance the federal budget the last time our nation was able to do it, makes me proud to become part of the effort in Georgia to elect him President of the United States.”
