Dunwoody Music Festival Off for 2012

Bill Grant told the Dunwoody City Council that the recent fall festival will take a hiatus.

The organizers of the Dunwoody Music Festival announced Tuesday that the annual event will take a hiatus in 2012.

The music festival - an annual event since 2009 - was considering locating at Perimeter Mall this year after several events in Brook Run Park, said Bill Grant told the City Council.

Because of restrictions over vending in the mall parking lot, the event couldn't be held there, Grant said. There were also other music festivals around Atlanta for the weekend that was planned for the local music festival.
