Dunwoody PD Makes Arrest at Von Maur

Newly opened department store in Perimeter Mall became victim to a suspected thief who was also carrying something, police say.

An Atlanta man was arrested Wednesday night at the new Von Maur in Perimeter Mall for suspicion of shoplifting a $54 scarf.

The arrest ended up being bigger than that.

When the man was searched by Dunwoody PD, the man was found to possess two bags of heroin and several syringes on him.

The man was charged with suspicion of possession of the controlled substances as well as the the attempted stolen scarf.
