Dunwoody PD to Host National Night Out at Target Tonight

Tonight is National Night Out - an evening event designed to increase awareness and crime prevention in communities across the country.

Last year, more than 37 million people participated in National Night Out.

In Dunwoody, the Police Department will be hosting a National Night Out event at starting at 6 p.m. and going until 8 p.m.

Target is sponsoring the event, raffling off two kids bicycles and around $200 in gift cards. There will be food and dessert served in the parking lot.

The Dunwoody PD will also be showing some equipment used in day to day police tasks.
