Department will Tweet every call it has for 24 hours, starting at 6 a.m. Friday

The Dunwoody Police are hitting the pavement and the keyboard Friday.

For 24 hours, the department will tweet every single call officers respond to, starting at 6 a.m.

The department will use Twitter to publish information on each call. Twitter allows you to post updates of 140 characters or less.

The department is known for its use of social media through its web site, Facebook site, Twitter account and new Interactive Defense social media safety system.
