Dunwoody Police Rescue Elderly Driver
The woman realized she had stayed out too late and couldn't drive herself home. So DPD stepped in to help.

An elderly driver who has trouble seeing at night was rescued by Dunwoody Police Saturday night.
According to the department’s Facebook page, officers checked on the vehicle in the parking lot of Dunwoody Baptist Church because the driver was flashing the headlights erratically. They found an elderly who told officers she suffered from night blindness and was trying to signal for help.
This driver realized she had stayed out too late and couldn’t drive in the dark so she pulled over and signaled for help. Officers Sillah and Maldonado made sure she and her vehicle made it home safe and sound, the department said.
