Dunwoody resident joins bank's front-line team
Joel Higdon brings experience in banking and other realms to Private Bank of Buckhead & Decatur
Private Bank of Buckhead has named Dunwoody resident Joel Higdon as a Personal Banker. He has more than 15 years’ experience in customer service, with 5 years of that spent in banking.
“Joel brings experience in a number of areas that are important to our clients, always with a focus on a great customer service experience,” says Tawanna Robinson, the bank’s Branch Manager, “which makes him a great fit for our team.”
A native of Ellijay, which he reminds us is the apple capital of Georgia, Higdon is a graduate of Appalachian Technical College and previously worked as a Personal Banker and as a Retail Banker.
“I enjoy getting to know each client and their needs, ensuring they have a great experience every time they call on us,” he says.
Away from the bank, Higdon enjoys outdoor photography and cooking, collects cookbooks and vintage kitchen utensils and appliances, recently began learning guitar, and loves to go camping, kayaking, hiking and to the beach. He and his partner of 7 years reside in Dunwoody.
Private Bank of Buckhead brings a private banking approach to all clients across all functions of the bank. The bank – now in its ninth year – is designated a Preferred Lender by the U.S. Small Business Administration, and includes PrivatePlus Mortgage, as well as a Decatur location, known as Private Bank of Decatur. Private Bank of Buckhead, including its mortgage unit, is located in Piedmont Center (Building Three). The mortgage division also is represented in Decatur, and does business nationally.
