Dunwoody to Host Greenway Discussion Feb. 21

Meeting will further discuss Greenway proposal

The city of Dunwoody will be hosting a public meeting on Monday, Feb. 21, about the greenway corridors proposed in the city parks, transporation and comprehensive land use master plans.

The meeting will be held in city hall chambers, starting at 7:30 p.m.

The issue of greenways has stirred up a lot of emotion for landowners along the potential trails. With some greenway proposals, including along the northern power line route, the city would likely ask for easements from property owners, as the greenway would have to cut through properties along that line.
