Schedule of events: 8:00 a.m. – onsite registration

9:00 a.m. – 5K begins
9:45 a.m. – Kids’ fun run (1K)
10:00 a.m. – Family fun festival begins

Media Opportunity: Recipients of Easter Seals North Georgia’s programs and services will be at the event, including:

  • children and their families from our 12 child development centers in metropolitan Atlanta and Northeast Georgia;
  • families from our early intervention services;
  • Wesley Foley who has been receiving support services through the Champions for Children program since he was two years old. The Champions for Children program allows his family to pay for therapy, doctors’ visits and medical equipment to address his Prune Belly Syndrome diagnosis; and,
  • Nicholas DiGiovine has had a very long relationship with the Champions for Children program. Nicholas, who was born with a form of spina bifida, has received support services which have allowed him to attend specialty camps. He and his band will be playing at the event!
