Elekta to host cancer survivorship event September 10 in Dunwoody at The Terraces

Cancer survivorship event to take place September 10 in Dunwoody

Elekta is hosting a cancer survivorship event September 10 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at our North American headquarters in Dunwoody.“Elekta’s Ultimate Ride to Survivorship” will feature Professional BMX bike rider and health coach, Josh Perry, who will recount his treatment of a brain tumor with Leksell Gamma Knife®, Elekta’s radiosurgery system for treating brain disorders.

Josh received Gamma Knife radiosurgery in 2012 to treat a post-surgical recurrence of a benign tumor called a meningioma that was threatening his vision. Josh’s experience inspired him to become a lifestyle coach for individuals undergoing cancer treatment.

In addition, attendees will have the opportunity to network, meet Dunwoody Mayor Mike Davis, learn about Elekta’s commitment to cancer care and get a behind-the-scenes look at how our treatment solutions are promoting survivorship around the world.
