Adult Lunch & Learn at Dunwoody Nature Center

Pack your own lunch or order a boxed lunch that will be ready when you arrive!

Space for the Lunch & Learn is limited and reservations and payments are taken on a first served basis in advance of the program by registering online or by calling the Program Office.

February 2 - Master Gardener Kendra Boyer will discuss native plants of Georgia and plant propigation techniques.

March 1 - Joseph R. Mendelson III, PhD, Curator of Herpetology, Zoo Atlanta, will talk about how the health and decline of amphibians is affecting the ecosystem and balance of environmental health of our planet.

April 19 - Julie Marateck of the High Museum of Art will discuss the museum’s current and upcoming exhibitions and highlight artwork in these collections that are inspired by nature.  Marateck will also remark on the history of the High Museum of Art and speak about the influence of nature on art and artists.

May 10 - Charles Seabrook, author and famed Atlanta Journal-Constitution columnist, will talk about his new book, The World of the Salt Marsh (published by University of Georgia Press).
