DUNWOODY, GA — A Georgia man who police say posed as a priest to lure and sexually assault multiple women in the Dunwoody area has been captured in Missouri, authorities confirmed Wednesday.
Marco A. Johnson, 46, was taken into custody Wednesday in Maryland Heights, Missouri, a suburb of St. Louis. Johnson is awaiting extradition to Georgia, the Dunwoody Police Department said in a statement.
According to police, Johnson is accused of pulling up to women walking or waiting at bus stops. He would talk to them and "gain their confidence" by telling him he was a priest and spiritual reader, police said.
