IT Company to Bring Headquarters and Jobs to Dunwoody
The relocation brings close to 300 jobs to the area.
A well-established IT company is moving its headquarters to the Perimeter Area of Dunwoody.
Ventyx, which provides software, data and advisory services to energy companies, has signed a lease agreement that will move its current headquarters from the Marietta area to 55,257 square feet of class A office space at The Terraces on Ashford Dunwoody Road.
The move brings nearly 300 jobs to Dunwoody, according to a press release from the city.

“The City is proud to welcome Ventyx, a leader in their industry, to their new home in Dunwoody,” said Mayor Ken Wright, in the press statement. “We believe Ventyx will be a great fit with our community. The value they place on providing premier business solutions and their passion for excellence will be a welcome addition to our business community.”
Ventyx’s headquarters won’t move far. They are currently located just northeast of 285 and 75.

The company's move to Dunwoody was spurred by the need for a high quality corporate location with access to multiple transportation options, better access to its current and futures workforce, and easily accessible amenities, the city said.
Rumors of the move from the current location were reported last March by Bisnow Atlanta.
The Atlanta Business Chronicle reports that Ventyx will be moving 180 jobs at it current global headquarters to the new Perimeter Location, along with workers from the company’s Alpharetta office (formerly Obvient Strategies).
The company has regional offices in six cities throughout the country, as well as in Japan, the United Kingdom, France and South Africa.
Ventyx was purchased by the publicly traded company ABB in June of 2010 for more than $1 billion, according to Reuters.
It is the second large company to move its headquarters to Dunwoody in recent months.
In July, , where it will also be leasing space at the Terraces.
