Lawyer Speaks to DHS Teens Friday About Keeping Noses Clean
Ignorance of the law is no defense, say J. Tom Morgan, a former DeKalb DA, who has a private practice in Decatur.

High school can be a fun time. High school can be a rough time.
On Friday, at a bright and early 8:30 a.m. assembly, Dunwoody High School students will hear a presentation on teenagers' rights under the law.
On 7 p.m. Tuesday, parents are welcome to attend. Dunwoody parents and private school parents are welcome to attend, say officials.
Where: DHS Theater, 5035 Vermack Road.
The course promises some intense lessons. "Ignorance is No Defense" is the moniker, which, of course, means that even if you don't know the law, you can still be prosecuted for it if you break it.
