Light Up Dunwoody to Welcome Holidays Nov. 30

The rescheduled event will feature Santa Claus, along with the lighting of the Christmas tree at the Cheek-Spruill Farmhouse.

The city’s annual “Light Up Dunwoody” Christmas celebration at the Cheek-Spruill Farmhouse -- postponed last weekend because of weather -- will be held Sunday, Nov. 30, says the Dunwoody Homeowners Association.

The free community event to welcome the holiday season, Light up Dunwoody Christmas Village opens at 3 p.m. and ends with the lighting of the tree at 5:45 p.m., according to the Dunwoody Crier.

Vendors will sell refreshments.

The farmhouse is the center of activity as Santa and elves will welcome children on the front porch, while reindeer with a Santa sleigh will be available for more photo opportunities. Bring your own camera.
