Godbee is described as a white man, 6’2, 155 pounds, slender build with brown eyes, gray hair and mustache, unshaven and was last seen wearing navy blue fleece pants, a gray flannel shirt and black overcoat.

Authorities say Godbee requires medications for congestive heart failure and has not officially been diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer’s, but is experiencing symptoms of dementia. Godbee was recently released from the hospital, but believed he was still in the hospital this morning while at home.

The missing man was driving a white 1998 Mercedes E320 wagon displaying Georgia tag #PNX2833.

Anyone with information on Godbee’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Decatur Police Department at 404-373-6551 or call 911.
