National Dog Day, August 26, 2015 - Meet Sara Evans!
Adopting is a rewarding experience for everyone, especially the animals. Please consider saving a life today!

Sara Evans is sweeter than an ice cold glass of Georgia Sweet Tea! Look into her gorgeous hazel eyes and you’ll see the gentle soul within. Sara Evans was picked up as a stray and taken to a rural high kill shelter. She was in deplorable condition when Furkids found her there. Sara Evans cleaned up well! She is a beautiful girl and there are few traces of the dog we found huddled in that high kill shelter. The one thing Sara Evans is lacking is confidence. We don’t know how long she was alone on the streets or what she experienced during that time but she remains a timid girl, gentle but timid. Sara needs a gentle and patient family to help build her confidence. At around 25 lbs, Sara Evans is a nice, medium size. Like most shy dogs, once you have befriended Sara you are a friend for life! Your efforts to win her over are well rewarded when she wags her tail in greeting. Sara Evans is a special girl and has stolen the hearts of all who have taken the time to know her. Spend some time getting to know Sara Evans. She is a keeper!
Since Sara Evan’s estimated birthdate is 12/31/12, her adoption fee is $275 [senior citizens (age 62 and older) and military personnel receive a 25% discount on adoption fees]. If you want to know more about Sara Evans and to speak to an Adoption Counselor, please complete an application at https://furkids.org/dog-adoptions/application.
