National Showpiece Championship @ Pastry Live 5
Come out and see 100+ chefs from the US and around the world participate in 3 days of bigger than ever competitions.
The chefs competing in the National Showpiece Championship are among the top in the industry, possessing impressive skills in chocolate and sugar work.
Starting at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, August 25th, each team will have seven hours to finish their showpieces. With
this year’s theme being “Toys,” each team will choose from either chocolate or sugar to showcase their talents and ingenuity while competing for the title of Showpiece Champions.
Now in its fifth year, the National Showpiece Championship calls for competitors to push the boundaries of normal showpiece construction, but without requiring huge financial and personal sacrifices from competitors. Rather
than constraining chefs with endless rules and regulations, the National Showpiece Championship is a new form of competition that encourages chef to compete at the highest level possible.
