Sandy Springs Police are looking for a dark colored SUV with a white female passenger. The vehicle is suspected of hitting the elderly woman while she was on her way to the Community Action Center, which serves Sandy Springs and Dunwoody.

A 67-year-old woman died at North Fulton Hospital after being struck in a Tuesday night hit-and-run incident in Sandy Springs, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The woman was walking to the Community Action Center near Roswell Road and Hightower Trail when she was struck and suffered severe head trauma, according to a Channel 2 news report.
The CAC serves both Dunwoody and Sandy Springs residents with a food pantry and other outreach services.

Police are looking for a dark colored SUV that with a white female passenger.
The incident occurred at 8:11 p.m. Tuesday. A police statement said the vehicle fled in the direction of the Cherokee Town and Country Club and the Huntcliff Residential Community.
