New British-Inspired Pub Features Pour Your Own Beer Wall
The grand opening of The Pub is Monday, Aug. 11, at Perimeter Mall.
Happy Hour is about to get a lot more interesting in Atlanta with the opening of a new, British-Inspired pub featuring a “Pour Your Own Beer Wall.”
The Pub advertises a true British Pub experience for customers, complete with food, drink and hospitality. Those looking for something a little more interactive can also pay by the ounce and pull their own pint at the “Pour Your Own Beer Wall.”
The new and twelfth location of the restaurant will be at Perimeter Mall, 4400 Ashford Dunwoody Road.

Nick Sanders, founder of the Tavern Restaurant Group and creator of The Pub, says the idea came from his love for the classic British pub and hospitality he experienced in pubs throughout Great Britain.
“We are passionate about providing our guests with brilliant food, drink and hospitality in an original and authentic atmosphere,” says Scott Schmidt, chief operations officer of the Tavern Restaurant Group, according to a press release. “We continue to develop our Pub concept and the top-notch shopping and dining options make Perimeter Mall a perfect fit for us. We look forward to providing our local patrons and visitors with a unique and memorable experience.”

The exterior of The Pub is modeled after corner pubs in London and the interior is furnished with pieces shipped from the UK. Each Pub location features a handcrafted bar with optic pourers as the center piece.
“The Pub brings a British flavor to our existing assortment of restaurants, and we are excited that it is opening in Perimeter Mall,” says John Liu, marketing manager at Perimeter Mall. “We are thrilled to offer another great dining experience to our shoppers and the local community.”
The Pub, is slated to open Monday, Aug. 11. Hours of operation will be 11 a.m. to midnight, Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. Happy hour is Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
