The wines from Rioja Spain have been a longtime favorite of mine, and the 2018 vintage from Marques de Caceres is a great example of how good the Tempranillo grape can be in a dinner wine.
The nose is the essence of plum and blueberry, with a flavor spectrum ranging from plum to blackberry, with a background of cassis. There is a lingering finish which compliments a wide range of foods The alcohol content is 13.5% and Norm's score is 91. This one definitely, "begs for another sip"!

Great with grilled meats and stews, we enjoyed our sample with beef kabobs, hot off of the grill!
