2018 Weed Cellars Central Coast Chardonnay

What's in a name? In this case only wine, although the label might suggest otherwise.
The brand new label, Weed Chardonnay, contains just that. a decent Chardonnay whose name may attract more attention than its taste.

The nose is perky with apple and some tropical fruit leading to flavors of apple, pear, and a dash of pineapple. It is rounded with good acidity, and has a decent finish. The alcohol content is 14%, and Norm's score is 87.

A bottle of Weed Chardonnay and a Bay Scallops Pasta Salad, made for a tasty repast for the Chardonnay Queen and I on a warm summer night.
