In the past New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc has been a little intense with the grapefruit taste for my palate. However the latest offering from Nobilo seems to have more balance in its flavor spectrum than some previous vintages.
The nose is fresh with the presence of tropical fruit backed by a slight citrus breeze. The flavors are a good mix of pineapple, grapefruit, and melon, with a small hint of lime, and a crisp finish. The alcohol content is 12.3%, and Norm's score is 87.
