Claire Ogee and her sister were driving home from church when the tree suddenly snapped and landed on the road right in front of their vehicle.
Neighbors Troy Gilbert and Joseph Jackson said they heard the loud crack and saw the Jeep going airborne.
Several neighbors worked together to move the tree to the side of the road so traffic could pass through.
It was a beautiful sunny day with very little breeze and no weather related reasons for the tree to fall today. One neighbor took a close look at the tree and commented that tree appeared to have been rotting and just snapped.
