Plans Change for Second Phase of Brook Run Park

In a split vote, Dunwoody City Council approved changes for a grant application for Brook Run Park, last week.
The $100,000 grant would fund a 12-foot wide concrete multi-use trail on the second phase of the trail, a Reporter Newspapers story said.

During the City Council meeting, Brent Walker, director of Dunwoody Recreation and Parks department said it was necessary to change the grant application from original plans for an 8-foot-wide asphalt trail, the story said. Funds would increase the second phase budget to $441,000.
